# Read the briefing

> Read the day's stories, see the questions they raise, and find each story on a map.

## Steps

1. Choose Briefing in the top bar.
2. Read each story's short summary and open its source. Under What happens next, Prolepsia lists the questions the story raises.
3. A question you already forecast shows your latest forecast. Choose View to open it.
4. Choose Forecast this to make a suggested question your own. Prolepsia opens it in Discover, where you check it and start a forecast.
5. Choose Map to see where each story happens. A number on the map marks several stories close together. Zoom with the buttons, or drag the map.
6. Select a marker, or a story in the list, to read it beside the map with its questions.
7. Search stories and places, or narrow the list by category and place. Turn on With a related forecast to keep only the stories that have one of your forecasts.

## Good to know

- A new briefing arrives each weekday. To get it by email, turn on the weekday briefing in Settings, on the Notifications tab.

## What the video says

Briefing shows what is happening in the world, and the questions it raises about what happens next. Open it from the top bar. Each story has a short summary and its source.
