# Settings, credits and notifications

## Steps

1. Open the menu under your name and choose Settings.
2. On Profile, set your name and the report length that forecast pages and emails open at.
3. On Notifications, choose which emails you get: when a forecast finishes, when a question resolves, and the weekday briefing. Below them, set your time zone and when the daily digest of scheduled forecasts arrives.
4. On Credits and billing, check your credit balance and where your credits come from. Choose Buy credits to add a credit pack, or See forecast prices to see what each run mode costs.
5. Under Plan, see how you pay. Choose Change plan to move to a monthly plan that adds credits every month.
6. Read Activity for every change to your credits, and Payments for what you paid.
7. On Referrals, copy your referral link.
8. On Organization, see your organization and your role. In a team organization, admins also invite members and decide what can be shared.

## Good to know

- Forecasts and automatic reruns spend credits. Chat replies are free.
- Someone who creates an account with your referral link gets credits, and you get credits after their first purchase.
- The Connections, Forecast presets, API and AI clients, and Webhooks tabs each have a guide of their own.
